I wanted to see relevant content online and share finds with family. My geographic reach is extending to other areas of the Caribbean, the US eastern seaboard, and Africa. I’m writing my ancestors into visibility. And as genealogy has a restorative justice component, I want to introduce readers to helpful concepts, historical events and people who write on these themes.

Some of Ellen’s recent posts include

She’s interested in the following surnames: Babilonia, Fernandez, Matos, Calo, and Acevedo.

Happy Blogiversary Ellen!
