Karen Seeman has been blogging at Ancestor Soup since 2009. Karen is originally from South Dakota but transplanted to Minnesota. She is a member of Illinois State Genealogical Society, Peoria County (Illinois) Genealogical Society, Stark County (Illinois) Genealogical Society, and Olmsted County (Minnesota) Genealogical Society.
The purpose of her blog is to record methods she used to sole elusive problems and practical solutions to genealogical stumbling blocks. Karen also enjoys researching historical happenings from her hometown of Huron, South Dakota which have resulted in numerous blog posts.
