Janice started blogging because she wanted to offer her family, and her husband’s family the chance to learn about their wonderful assortment of ancestors. On her blog, Janice gives brief sketches of her ancestors; she primarily focuses on immigrants and soldiers. She says she has many brick walls she hopes to crash.
Janice is interested in the following surnames: Allen, Holbrook, Harshbarger, and Beeks.
Some blog posts include:
- Allen line: John Havens Starr, Samuel Falley, Lt. Richard Falley
- Holbrook line: Johan Jacob Hetrick 1730-1789 Immigrant and Patriot
- Harshbarger line: Hiram Burkholder, Civil War veteran
